Ho Chi Minh Museum at No.19 Ngoc Ha Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi is the most important historical-cultural relic of Hanoi capital and Vietnam, along with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Uncle Ho's stilt house.

Ho Chi Minh Museum is the most important and complete center of research on President Ho Chi Minh, attracting many domestic and foreign visitors, scholars, scientists and researchers. come to learn and research about Uncle Ho.

Ho Chi Minh Museum was started construction on August 31st, 1985 and inaugurated on May 19th, 1990, on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh's 100th Birthday.

The Museum was designed and constructed by Russian chief architect, Garon Ixacovich, and built with the generous help of the Soviet people. The museum building is a beveled square block with a height of 3 floors, nearly 20m, each length of 70m, it carries the symbol of an elegant white lotus, reminiscent of Sen Village, his homeland.

The museum has more than 12,000 documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh that being preserved and displayed with the content consisting of three main parts. The first part shows the life, revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh and how Vietnam people implement his testament. This section includes documents, artifacts, documentary films and works of art, presented in a systematic manner and is the main tour with eight topics: President Ho Chi Minh's Childhood and Youth, the first revolutionary activity (1890-1911) until President Ho Chi Minh led the socialist revolution in the North, fought against American aggression and liberation of the South to unite the country (1954-1975).

Next is the exhibition about Vietnam, the struggle and victory of the Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era.

The last part displays some historical events in the world that affected the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnam Revolution ...

All the artifacts, documents and pictures displayed at the Museum are a combination of handmade and modernity, a harmonious connection between life and revolutionary career of Uncle Ho with the nation and the era, in which his great contributions are expressed in the central position and the most bold.

There are more than 20,000 books written about President Ho Chi Minh here, all of them have been modernized by information technology. These books also combined with an archive of documents, artifacts, original movies about the life and revolutionary career of the Person to become a rich digital repository, so Museum has become a reliable and attractive address for many scientists and researchers.

Since its inception, the number of visitors to the Museum has been increasing. Especially on the big holidays, weekends, the number of visitors up to 2 thousand people.
