On the occasion of the 1073 year anniversary of the King Ngo Quyen death, February 17th 2017, after the death anniversary of the King, the Vietnamese Ngo Family Council organized a delegation to visit the Bach Dang Giang relic site in Hai Phong city, in order to find out and collect more information about the Bach Dang stake yard relic.

Gate of Bach Dang Giang relics - Trang Kenh, Hai Phong

Bach Dang Giang relic site is located in Trang Kenh village, Minh Duc town, Thuy Nguyen district, about 25 km north of Hai Phong city center. The relics is surrounded by the majestic Trang Kenh mountain range, in front is the legendary Bach Dang river, the southern slope is the gentle Gia river. This is a relic that was restored by the people, becoming a complex of architectural works, religious art, spirituality, with a influential and spacious architecture built from 2008 to 2011 on the prime land. The relics is also being proposed by the people of Hai Phong to build a successful Bach Dang Victory Park - the future will become a venue for a traditional festival celebrating the historic victory of Bach Dang.

From the main gate, visitors can drive about 500m to the reception house. Here visitors return the car to walk into sightseeing, ceremony, with free parking. People can also go inside and take a rest, drink water before and after sightseeing. In the reception house, there are many wooden sofa-style furniture. Around the porch, the water for guests to serve themselves, with polite invitation on the board beside.

From the reception house, walk to visit the whole relic system with a distance of about 2Km. Along the way, we admire a system of temples, shrines, and monuments to honor ancestors and national heroes. Through the exhibit gallery is the temple of Emperor Le Dai Hanh, who defeated the Tong invaders in 981. Next, there is the Truc Lam Tu Trang Kenh pagoda, where the Buddha Tran Nhan Tong was worshiped, and the temple of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan, who led the 3rd Mongolian army victory in 1288 with the same stakes on this river.

Next is the temple for President Ho Chi Minh, the Great Leader of the Vietnamese people. Near the end of the relic and adjacent to the Bach Dang River is the temple of King Ngo Quyen, the Trung Hung ancestor, who made a historic victory, defeating the tens of thousands of Nam Han army in 938 right here, bringing the independence, established and opened an era of autonomy for the country.

The temple was built at the Bach Dang Giang historical relic in 2011 in the respect of people in Trang Kenh Thuy Nguyen, Haiphong.

Ngo Vuong Quyen Temple was started construction on 1/6/2011, completed on 11/11/2011, located majestically, magnitude on a spacious, airy campus. Arriving in front of the gate, worshiping the temple, we went to the temple to worship, burn incense, express our feelings of pride and an indescribable emotion. The descendants of the Ngo family are always disturbed by the reason: So far, visiting the relics of Ngo Vuong Quyen, throughout the country, there has been no place of great caliber, commensurate with his merits and dedication. This is the temple that meets that requirement. We silently asked: it was never known when Hanoi Capital would build a memorial area to King Ngo Quyen as worthy as this.

Along the way from the gallery to here, the soft and peaceful meditation music emanating from the roadside speakers creates a peaceful atmosphere, plus the cool breeze, carrying steam from the below river make our souls gentle, relax.

On the river bank, where protrudes from the river is the monument of three national heroes who made historic victories on this river: Duc Vuong Ngo Quyen, Emperor Le Dai Hanh and Quoc Cong Tiet Che Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan. Looking at the majestic statues, gazing straight down the river as if commanding the battle. The statue has a majestic and majestic appearance, but the nuance also exudes generosity and tolerance. We have seen the statue of Ngo Vuong Quyen in some places, but none of the statues are as vivid as the statue of Ngo Vuong here. Thanks to the design artist and the workers with skillful hands for creating beautiful, high-value artworks.

Visiting the hypothetical pile yard at the foot of the monument, naturally aroused feelings of pride, but remembered today is February 17. This day 38 years ago, the Northern invaders rushed into our country along the border, killing people, looting assets, so many soldiers and compatriots have fallen in front of the cruel guns of the barbarians, suddenly felt pain in his heart. This reminds our people to constantly raising vigilance

Visiting the Bach Dang Giang relic site, one more thing we are interested in is: the security management, order and hygiene as well as the consciousness of visitors is very good. Perhaps subjectively speaking, the management and service here is one of the models for other places to learn and learn from experience. During the journey of sightseeing, we did not see the phenomenon of begging, no restaurant, no one littered, did not see the phenomenon put money in the Buddha Holy hand ... The staff of cleaning staff are always working, objects, floors are always cleaned.

But only one thing that makes people feel dissatisfied is: the Cement plant is right next to the relic, even in the relic still operating. Looking at some of the surrounding mountains are being exploited to disrupt the landscape, the environment is polluted, which greatly affects the relics.

Hopefully Hai Phong City, the leaders of Trang Kenh Cement Company and the Management Board of Bach Dang Giang relic site quickly have a plan, soon relocate the cement plant to other places, ensuring sanitation environmental and landscape overall for relics, in order to best serve the people to visit, worship.
